| Z-Lock Insulated Metal Panels are the primary material in all buildings produced by Z-Lock. These panels (see diagram below) are 22"x 64" in size, are 1 3/4" thick, and consist of a solid polystyrene insulation (R15.49) core sandwiched by two sheets of 22 gauge metal skins. The polystyrene core chemically bonds to the metal skins for structural rigidity to resist warping, twisting and de-lamination. The 22 gauge metal skins won't warp, sag, shrink or swell. The sold polystyrene core provides for superior energy efficiency, creating a thermal break, seperating the exterior skin from the interior skin, eliminating the transfer of heat or cold through the metal skins. |
